FRONT DESK
of the hotel. The position is Part time; shifts will vary based upon hotel need and may include days, evenings and weekends. This job is primarily for morning shifts (7AM-3PM). Must be able to work a flexible schedule (including weekends and holidays). Must have a min. 1 year related experience. Hotel and ONQ experience preferred. Previous Front Desk experience at a similar Hotel extremely favorable. Must be computer literate, and able to stand over extended periods of time. Position requires an extremely positive outlook, upbeat energy and an outgoing nature. Professional appearance standards required. All potential team members will be required to satisfactorily pass background screening. The Front Desk Agents for Homewood Suites by Hilton is responsible for the following: Greeting and registering guests and checking guests out of the hotel in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Inputting and retrieving hotel information from the computer, confirmation of guest information and room rate, selection of rooms, coding electronic keys, promoting marketing programs, providing a warm welcome and ensuring guest knows location of room and/or has assistance if needed. Assist guests with check-out including, but not limited to, ensuring rooms and services are correctly accounted, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, accepting and recording various forms of payment, and making change and processing gift certificates and cards. Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of hotel information including, but not limited to, room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, the local area and other general product knowledge and answer guest questions and inquiries/occupancy Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner Field guest complaints, conduct research and resolve and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction Receive/ship any guest mail, input, retrieve and relay messages to guests H Hospitality
