Front Desk Clerk

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and personable Front Desk Agent to join our team at a prestigious resort. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. Duties Greet guests upon arrival and check them in efficiently while ensuring all necessary information is collected. Handle guest inquiries and provide information about the resort's amenities, services, and local attractions. Manage phone systems to answer calls promptly and assist with reservations or guest requests. Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions in the hotel management system. Address guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and empathy, striving to enhance their experience. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests. Assist with check-out procedures, including processing payments and providing receipts. Promote hotel services and upsell additional offerings to enhance guest satisfaction. Skills Proven experience in a front desk role within a hotel or resort environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of phone etiquette and effective communication skills. Familiarity with hotel management software is a plus. Excellent guest relations skills with the ability to handle diverse situations gracefully. Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to our diverse clientele. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
