Job Description

Front Desk Associate at HammerZone Sports - Fairfax, VA HammerZone Sports is looking for dependable, energetic, and organized Front Desk Associates to help create a welcoming environment for athletes, families, and guests. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys sports, customer service, and working in a fast-paced training facility. Our facility specializes in baseball and softball training, lessons, camps, and team development. Front Desk Associates play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Greet athletes, parents, and guests professionally Answer phones and assist with scheduling questions Process customer check-ins and payments Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the facility Monitor cages and training areas Assist coaches and staff as needed Ensure facility closing procedures are completed properly Communicate daily updates and issues to management Closing Duties Reset Cages Screens placed in front of machines Ensure 2 tees per cage One tee on home plate Ball cart beside home plate Pick up all balls from floor Empty bathroom trash Restock paper towels, toilet paper, and soap as needed Organize helmets on rack Ensure equipment closet is locked Pick up visible trash throughout facility Place lost items in lost and found Leave designated TVs on and turn HitTrax TV off Turn off lights and lock all doors Set alarm Send After Action Report (AAR) to management Qualifications Strong communication and customer service skills Reliable and punctual Ability to work evenings and weekends Comfortable working in a sports environment Ability to multitask and stay organized Previous front desk, retail, or sports facility experience preferred but not required Job Type Part-time Schedule Evening shifts Weekend availability preferred Benefits Flexible scheduling Positive team environment Opportunity to work around baseball and softball training Pay Commensurate with experience
