Full Job Description TITLE:
FRONT DESK AGENT

General Manager, Assistant Manager, Front Desk Manager
SUBORDINATES
N/A Job Summary:
To ensure all revenue is posted to the correct departments and to balance all revenue departments on a daily basis and complete all necessary reports.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Performs all audit procedures as set forth by the Hotel and company, on a daily basis.
  • Performs and attributes all required audit reports.
  • Verifies the status of all wake-up call requests and ensures they are properly handled.
  • Balances all cash receipts and work performed during the audit shift.
  • Prepares the front office for the 'A' shift and reset days business.
  • Acts as a Guest Service representative during the nighttime hours.
  • Acts as the manager on duty during the nighttime hours.
  • Attends and actively participates in all front office meetings.
  • Participates in all training and cross training programs.
  • Acts as PBX operator during the audit shift.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
  • Takes the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
  • Reports to work for scheduled shifts, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.
  • Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.

      Qualification Summary:
      Education & Experience:
      • Proven experience as a front desk agent preferred.
      • Prioritization and time management skills required.
      • Working quickly without compromising quality.
      • Attention to Detail skills required.
      • Reliable mode of transportation required.
      • High school diploma or GED certification or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
