Hotel Front Desk Agent

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at the Holiday Inn Express Stafford / Quantico. The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing excellent guest service while handling reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and guest requests efficiently and courteously. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Responsibilities Welcome guests in a warm and professional manner Perform guest check-ins and check-outs accurately Handle room reservations, cancellations, and modifications Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries promptly Process payments and maintain accurate billing records Assist guests with requests, concerns, and local information Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and promotions Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate when necessary Maintain a clean and organized front desk area Follow hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous hotel or customer service experience is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn hotel management systems Ability to multitask and work under pressure Professional appearance and positive attitude Reliable transportation and punctuality required Benefits Competitive pay Employee discounts at IHG hotels Opportunities for career growth and advancement Supportive team environment
