Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality skills and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences in a hotel environment. Duties Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and inviting demeanor. Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction. Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications using hotel management software. Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about the hotel services and local attractions. Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner. Maintain an organized front desk area, ensuring all materials are stocked and accessible. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests. Uphold confidentiality of guest information and adhere to hotel policies. Assist in administrative tasks as needed, including filing and data entry. Qualifications Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred. Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests. Familiarity with front desk operations in a hotel setting is an advantage. Proficient in using phone systems and hotel management software. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
