Job Summary This position is responsible for maintaining the appearance and facilitating the operations of the Showroom for Chown Hardware. The Showroom Coordinator role serves as a liaison between walk-in customers and Sales Associates to ensure that guests experience superior customer service in a high-volume, luxury showroom environment by performing the following duties. Essential Job Duties
- Manages showroom displays to ensure that they are complete, in working order, and presented in the best possible way; return samples and displays to appropriate location following customer use; updates pricing and relevant information on displayed merchandise.
- Assists with display installation and showroom display planning, including but not limited to assembling fixtures, leveling, and repairing damaged or incomplete displays.
- Manages documentation and disseminates information on display changes to the relevant stakeholders (e.g., sales and purchasing staff, and management) of displays.
- Maintains and organizes resource library used by the sales team, including refiling binders after use, maintaining current price lists, and ordering new materials to replace outdated and worn binders.
- Creates a welcoming environment by greeting all customers when they arrive, identifying needs, and facilitating an introduction to the appropriate team member.
- Schedules and coordinates showroom appointments for clients, designers, contractors, and walk-ins.
- Communicates with vendors and internal teams to track orders, request product samples, and resolve order issues.
- Assists in organizing showroom events such as vendor showcases, designer trainings, or product launches.
- Serves as a resource to showroom staff, as needed, by following up on customer quotes, requesting product samples, identifying opportunities to upsell, and responding to customer requests when staff members are unavailable.
- Ensures showroom is adequately stocked with supplies, including refreshments, writing utensils, product brochures, etc.
- Assists with answering to answer and routing incoming phone calls to the appropriate person throughout the company.
- Provides general sales as scheduled or as needed on floor based on staffing needs and customer flow.
- Serves as cabinet hardware sales specialist and processes transactional sales as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
