Job Description
Lavissh Inn and Suites - Bellingham WA As the Front Desk Agent/Concierge, you will be responsible for the operations of the hotel, verifying the accuracy of guest accounts, balancing charges, as well as assisting with all aspects of guest services. Essential Functions Greets and welcomes every guest upon arrival. Communicates effectively with guests and employees. Perform accurate check-ins and check-outs of guest daily. Answer the telephone in a timely and professional manner. Make reservations over the phone and in person and ensure all aspects of the room reservation procedure are followed, including bookings, confirmation, and cancellation policies. Responsible for a cash float throughout your shift and ensuring all floats balance correctly at the end of the shift. Post any transactions needed. Also, other duties may be required as directed by your Manager. Required Education and Experience Must be able to work independently and exercise good judgment to resolve issues. Flexible schedule. Must be able to work weekends - Friday and Saturday afternoon- and holidays. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. This is a part-time position, and hours of work and days vary based on business needs. This includes weekends, holidays, evenings and/or overnight shifts.
