Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations during the shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to handle multiple tasks efficiently. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and maintaining guest satisfaction. Responsibilities Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage front desk operations including check-ins, check-outs, and reservations. Perform night audit duties to ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliation of daily transactions. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally. Maintain knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and events to provide guests with relevant information. Operate multi-line phone systems efficiently while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining guest records. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy. Uphold hotel policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Qualifications Previous experience in hotel management or hospitality is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse guests. Familiarity with night audit processes is a plus. Proficient in using front desk software and multi-line phone systems. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. A positive attitude and willingness to learn about the hospitality industry.
