Job Description

Guest Experience & Operations Manager Vīb Vacation Rentals | Lake Havasu City, AZ Vīb Vacation Rentals is looking for a highly organized, guest-focused, self-motivated team member to join our growing luxury vacation rental company in Lake Havasu City. This is a unique hospitality and operations role that combines guest communication, property management, social media, organization, problem solving, and hands-on operational support. Every day looks a little different, and we are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment while still maintaining a calm, professional, hospitality-first attitude.
IMPORTANT SCHEDULE DETAILS
This role operates on a rotating: 7 Days ON / 7 Days OFF Schedule You only work approximately 2 weeks per month. During your scheduled "on" week, you are the active manager handling guest communication, operational needs, property coordination, and day-to-day hospitality tasks. During your scheduled "off" week, you are generally off duty unless helping with occasional agreed-upon coverage swaps or emergencies. Because this is hospitality, some days are busier than others. Certain evenings may require responsiveness to guest needs, spa shutoffs, late arrivals, or occasional urgent situations. Other days are extremely flexible and can largely be managed remotely. This is not a traditional desk job or strict 9-5 role. Compensation 1099 Independent Contractor Position $1,250 per scheduled work week (starting pay) Approximately $2,500 monthly (starting pay) Paid bi-weekly via direct deposit Compensation is expected to grow as Vīb continues expanding Flexibility & Work Environment Significant flexibility in daily scheduling as long as guest and property needs are fully handled Much of the role can be managed remotely and from home Ability to structure your days independently if responsibilities are completed professionally and promptly Schedule flexibility and shift swaps can be coordinated between managers with approval and communication Company phone and iPad provided — personal devices are not expected for work Office space is available for anyone who prefers an office-style work environment However, this role still requires frequent property visits, walkthroughs, supply runs, and in-person operational tasks throughout the week Additional Perks Family and friends discounts on Vīb Vacation Rental stays Family-friendly work environment Well-behaved or appropriately managed children are welcome during many work-related tasks when appropriate Pack-and-play available for larger project/setup days if needed Full hands-on training provided First two weeks are completed directly alongside management for support and training Leadership is highly involved and always available for assistance Opportunity for long-term growth within a rapidly growing luxury hospitality company What You'll Do Manage guest communication before, during, and after stays Assist with reservations, guest support, and hospitality needs Coordinate check-ins, check-outs, and guest requests Troubleshoot guest concerns calmly and professionally Conduct property walkthroughs and quality-control inspections Check cleanings and maintain Vīb presentation standards Help with inventory organization and supply restocking Assist with new property setup and onboarding Coordinate with vendors, cleaners, homeowners, neighbors, and contractors Create social media content and help maintain online presence Use property management systems, automation tools, and AI tools like ChatGPT Communicate with our Virtual Assistant team to keep listings and content updated Occasionally assist with light cleaning, setup tasks, decorating or operational support Problem solve independently while knowing leadership is always available for support What We're Looking For Strong communication skills Excellent grammar and professional guest messaging Hospitality-first mindset Calm, even-tempered, and solution-oriented Able to professionally handle stressful, frustrating, or sometimes unreasonable guest situations with patience and professionalism Someone who understands that hospitality sometimes means smiling through difficult moments and helping guests feel taken care of regardless of the situation Comfortable with technology, apps, social media, and AI tools Organized, proactive, and dependable Able to work independently and manage time well Comfortable driving between multiple properties Professional and presentable when interacting with guests or homeowners Willing to learn systems and grow with the company Must be comfortable with the week on week off scheduling and the "hours" of the job requirement Requirements Must be available for rotating 7-on / 7-off scheduling Must have a reliable vehicle Must be over 21 years old Must be comfortable with occasional evening responsiveness during scheduled work weeks Must be comfortable in a fast-paced hospitality environment The Vīb Difference We are not looking for someone perfect.
