Job Description
Job Description Summary h2 Hotel is seeking a dynamic Front Desk Supervisor to help lead our front office team at our luxury resort in the heart of Sonoma Wine Country. In this pivotal role, you'll support the Front Desk Manager in overseeing day-to-day front desk operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, team performance, and operational excellence. We're looking for a motivated leader who thrives in a high-touch hospitality environment, demonstrates a passion for service, and brings a sharp eye for detail and team development. Responsibilities Assist the Front Desk Manager with scheduling, training, and supervising up to 25 front desk staff and concierge team members. Ensure all front office activities run smoothly and professionally in the Manager's absence. Monitor daily arrivals, VIPs, special requests, and group needs; coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to meet guest expectations. Resolve guest complaints with empathy and efficiency, escalating when necessary. Participate in daily front office operations to maintain service standards. Handle and report employee performance and support team development. Lead and support in emergency or safety situations as needed. Uphold hotel standards for guest satisfaction, appearance, and professionalism. Assist in administrative tasks, report writing, and operational improvement projects. Fulfill all duties of a Front Desk Agent as required. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality preferred. Minimum of 1years of experience in a hotel, hospitality, or customer service supervisory role. Familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera or similar platforms. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage conflict professionally. Capable of working under pressure and making quick, guest-centered decisions. Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
