CrystalCove.org. Position Summary The GSA Supervisor plays a critical role in supporting daily guest operations at the Crystal Cove Beach Cottages. This position serves as a working supervisor for Guest Services Associates (GSAs) and GSA Leads. The GSA Supervisor supports the Assistant Cottages Manager in handling guest concerns, enforcing policies, managing PTO and schedules, and ensuring a seamless guest experience across departments. Essential Position Responsibilities Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) during assigned shifts, providing leadership for GSAs and GSA Leads. Support guests by resolving service issues promptly and professionally; escalate complex matters as needed. Ensure consistent implementation of policies and procedures across all shifts. Assist with scheduling and managing PTO requests for Guest Services staff. Coordinate shift coverage and support team communication. Serve as liaison between GSAs and other departments, including Facilities, Retail, and Shuttle Operations. Assist in onboarding and training new GSA team members in coordination with the Assistant Cottages Manager. Ensure operational continuity during planned absences of the Assistant Cottages Manager. Support emergency procedures and serve as a point person for response coordination during MOD shifts. Perform other responsibilities as assigned. Skills and Qualifications Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to de-escalate guest concerns. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to remain calm while managing competing priorities and requests. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a diverse group of individuals. Ability to organize staff schedules and respond to changing operational needs. Familiarity with guest services software and Microsoft Office Suite. Commitment to high service standards and team collaboration. Education and Experience Minimum of 2 years of hospitality or guest services experience. Minimum of 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience. Supervisory Responsibilities This position performs supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; and contributing to performance management feedback. Physical Requirements Due to the nature of the property and the role's responsibilities, the GSA Supervisor must be able to walk on uneven terrain, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Work Environment This position is primarily based in the Historic District guest check-in area and may occasionally require outdoor work. Travel Requirements This position may require occasional on-site travel via company-provided golf carts.
