Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Hotel Accounting Manager to oversee the daily accounting operations of the hotel. The ideal candidate will have strong hospitality accounting knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The Hotel Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, financial reporting, bank reconciliations, audits, and daily revenue controls while supporting the hotel leadership team in achieving financial goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversee daily accounting operations for the hotel. Prepare and review daily revenue reports and financial statements. Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, city ledger, and collections. Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations. Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate financial records. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Ensure compliance with brand standards, company policies, and accounting procedures. Coordinate with department managers regarding budgeting and expense controls. Process payroll and ensure payroll accuracy when applicable. Prepare reports for ownership and corporate office. Assist with audits, tax filings, and financial reviews. Supervise and train accounting office staff. Maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information. Ensure timely completion of all accounting deadlines. Assist with HR duties such as hiring and training and maintaining employee records. Assist the GM with MOD duties. Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of hotel accounting experience preferred. Previous hospitality industry experience strongly required. Knowledge of hotel systems such as PEP, Restaurant POS system, or similar accounting/PMS systems preferred. Strong understanding of hotel revenue management and night audit procedures. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
