Job Description
O2 Employment Services is partnering with a respected local nonprofit organization to hire a full-time Guest Services Manager in Redding, CA . This leadership position is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, has strong leadership skills, and is passionate about supporting individuals in need while maintaining structure, accountability, and safety. Pay for the Guest Services Manager position is $26-30 per hour depending on experience.

Pay range: $26-$30 per hour Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Leadership and professional growth opportunities Meaningful work serving the local community Full-time, stable employment Guest Services Manager - Responsibilities The Guest Services Manager will oversee the daily operations of emergency shelter and resource center services while supervising staff and volunteers to ensure safe, consistent, and effective program delivery. Responsibilities for the Guest Services Manager include: Overseeing daily Guest Services operations including shelter and resource center activities Supervising, coordinating, and supporting Guest Services staff Managing staff scheduling and ensuring coverage for all shifts, including nights and weekends Leading and coordinating volunteer teams Providing coaching, accountability, and ongoing staff support Maintaining a safe, structured, and clean environment Responding to incidents, behavioral health crises, and conflict situations Utilizing de-escalation techniques and ensuring adherence to safety protocols Coordinating guest intake processes and case management support Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance standards Collaborating with internal departments and outside agencies to support continuity of care Building relationships with crisis teams, medical providers, hospitals, and law enforcement agencies Participating in operational planning and problem-solving meetings Guest Services Manager - Qualification s Qualifications for the Guest Services Manager position include: Minimum of 3-5 years of leadership or supervisory experience Experience in homeless services, behavioral health, or related human services fields preferred Strong leadership and team management skills Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities Experience managing personnel issues professionally and effectively Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and client data systems Understanding of boundaries, accountability, and policy enforcement Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays Clean DMV record Must be insurable through the company's insurance provider Ability to pass pre-employment screening including drug testing Guest Services Manager - Work Environment This position works within an active shelter and resource center environment and includes both office responsibilities and direct floor supervision. Employees will regularly interact with individuals experiencing homelessness, substance use challenges, and mental health crises. Candidates should be comfortable working in dynamic environments that may involve high-stress situations and should have the ability to respond quickly and professionally while maintaining safety and structure.
