This position oversees all aspects of hotel operations, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, sales support, revenue management, and limited food and beverage operations. The General Manager ensures that both properties operate efficiently, maintain exceptional service standards, and achieve financial objectives. The ideal candidate is a hands-on hospitality leader who can balance strategic planning with day-to-day operational oversight while fostering a culture of service excellence and teamwork. Requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed and frequent local travel.   • Direct and oversee the daily operations of two boutique hotel properties.
  • Ensure exceptional guest service standards are maintained across departments.
  • Monitor hotel operations to ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, maintenance, and presentation standards are consistently met.
  • Respond to guest concerns and service recovery situations in a professional and timely manner.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures that improve efficiency and guest satisfaction. Financial Management
  • Monitor revenues, expenses, labor costs, and departmental profitability.
  • Analyze financial reports and key performance indicators to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Implement strategies to maximize occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and overall profitability.
  • Approve expenditures and manage purchasing activities in accordance with guidelines.
  • Monitor inventory, purchasing, and labor costs
  • Ensure proper cash handling, financial controls, and internal audit procedures are maintained. Team Leadership and Human Resources
  • Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop hotel staff and department leaders.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork and guest service.
  • Manage employee scheduling and labor utilization.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies. Revenue Management and Sales Support
  • Partner with revenue management and sales teams to develop strategies that maximize occupancy and revenue.
  • Review pricing, market trends, competitive positioning, and demand forecasts.
  • Support local sales efforts, community outreach, and business development initiatives.
  • Develop relationships with local businesses, tourism organizations, and community partners.
  • Monitor online reputation management and guest review platforms.
  • Identify opportunities to increase guest retention and repeat business. Facilities Oversight
  • Oversee preventive maintenance programs and capital improvement projects.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and facility improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, security, and risk management programs.
  • Maintain property appearance and functionality to protect asset value and guest satisfaction. Compliance and Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with all hospitality regulations, safety requirements, and licensing obligations.
  • Maintain emergency preparedness and security procedures.
  • Ensure proper handling of guest information and company records.
  • Manage incident reports and risk mitigation efforts as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Experience and Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of seven years of hotel management experience with progressive leadership responsibility.
  • Experience overseeing multiple departments within a hotel environment.
  • Proven track record of driving guest satisfaction and financial performance.
  • Experience managing budgets, labor costs, and operational performance metrics.
  • Experience with limited-service or select-service food and beverage operations.
