  • Full-time Job Overview Candlewood Suites Turlock is seeking a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our hotel property.
This position is responsible for ensuring guest rooms, public areas, building systems, and grounds are maintained in a safe, clean, and professional condition. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance throughout the hotel. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff. Maintain guest rooms, public areas, and exterior grounds to brand standards. Conduct routine inspections and identify maintenance concerns before they become larger issues. Coordinate and oversee outside vendors and contractors as needed. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and local building codes. Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and inventory records. Assist with room renovations, painting, drywall repairs, and other property improvement projects. Participate in the on-call schedule and respond to emergency maintenance situations when necessary. Qualifications Previous hotel maintenance experience preferred. Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision. Basic computer skills for work orders and reporting. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work including climbing ladders, bending, and standing for extended periods.
