Job Description

Holiday Inn Ft Lauderdale Airport Hotel is looking for a General Manager Step into the dynamic role of Hotel General Manager, where you will lead the overall operations of a vibrant hospitality property. Your energetic leadership will drive exceptional guest experiences, foster a positive team environment, and ensure the smooth functioning of all hotel departments. Responsibilities :
Oversee daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, ensuring seamless coordination across departments. Lead and supervise staff at all levels, providing clear guidance, motivation, and support to foster a high-performance team culture. Manage guest relations proactively by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring every guest receives personalized, memorable service. Implement revenue management strategies to maximize occupancy rates and profitability through dynamic pricing and promotional initiatives. Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control measures to maintain fiscal health while delivering quality service. Maintain compliance with hospitality standards, health regulations, safety protocols, and hotel policies. Utilize multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette to handle reservations, inquiries, and guest requests efficiently. Coordinate with human resources for staffing needs, training programs, performance evaluations, and employee engagement initiatives. Drive continuous improvement by analyzing guest feedback and operational data to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
Experience :
Proven supervisory experience within the hospitality industry, ideally in hotel management or resort settings. Extensive hotel experience with a comprehensive understanding of front desk operations, guest services, and night audit procedures. Strong background in hospitality management principles including revenue management, budgeting, and human resources practices. Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse guests and staff. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a track record of motivating teams and managing multiple departments simultaneously. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating welcoming environments for guests from all backgrounds.
