Hotel Operations Location:
Ft Lauderdale, FL, 33301 Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Task Force Banquets Manager to join our Hotel Operations team . The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing banquet operations on a temporary or project basis, ensuring seamless execution of events, maintaining high service standards, and supporting the overall success of our banquet services. This job does require travel Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate banquet events from setup to breakdown, ensuring all client specifications and hotel standards are met. Lead and supervise banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and setup crews, to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Collaborate with sales, catering, and kitchen teams to ensure smooth communication and flawless event execution. Monitor banquet inventory and supplies, coordinating with purchasing to maintain adequate stock levels. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards during all banquet operations. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. Assist in training and onboarding temporary banquet staff as needed. Maintain accurate records of banquet activities, including event details, staffing, and incident reports. Adapt quickly to changing schedules and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Proven experience in banquet management or related hospitality roles, preferably within hotel operations. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and safety regulations. Proficiency with event management software and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
