Fort Lauderdale, FL, 33301 Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Task Force General Manager (GM) to join our team on a traveling assignment at Holiday Inn locations. This role is based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and requires a hands-on leader who can quickly adapt to new environments and drive operational excellence across multiple properties. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of Holiday Inn Express properties on a temporary, traveling basis to ensure high standards of guest service and operational efficiency. Lead and motivate hotel staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain brand standards. Manage budgets, financial performance, and operational costs to meet or exceed company goals. Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Collaborate with corporate teams and local stakeholders to address challenges and improve hotel performance. Conduct regular property inspections and audits to ensure compliance with brand standards and regulatory requirements. Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly to maintain high guest satisfaction. Train and develop team members to build a strong, customer-focused workforce. Qualifications Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably with Holiday Inn or similar brands. Ability to travel frequently and adapt quickly to new hotel environments. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Knowledge of hotel operations, budgeting, and financial management. Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences. Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
