Front Desk Supervisor My Place Hotels - 2.8 Ankeny, IA Job Details Full-time $16.50 - $17.50 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Phone communication Property management systems (PMS) Telephone systems Multi-line phone systems Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Front Desk Supervisor to oversee guest services and front desk operations at our upscale resort. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality management skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and the capacity to lead a team in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual proficiency and hotel management experience are highly valued to ensure seamless guest experiences and efficient front desk functions. Duties Supervise daily front desk operations, including check-in/check-out procedures, reservations, and guest inquiries Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring prompt responses to guest requests Oversee guest relations to deliver exceptional customer service and resolve any issues promptly Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction Train and mentor front desk staff on hotel policies, phone etiquette, and guest services standards Perform night audit procedures to reconcile daily transactions and ensure financial accuracy Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and guest preferences Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety standards, and hospitality regulations Experience Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, preferably in a supervisory role Strong background in guest services, guest relations, and customer satisfaction strategies Bilingual skills are preferred to assist a diverse clientele effectively Experience with hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems is essential Knowledge of night audit procedures and hotel management best practices is highly desirable Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal skills Previous experience working in a resort or upscale hotel environment is advantageous
