Each property has 62 rooms and requires a leader who leads by example, builds strong teams, and drives both guest satisfaction and financial performance. This role is ideal for a seasoned hospitality professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys developing people, and understands how to balance operations, sales, and revenue strategy across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations for two hotel properties , ensuring consistent service, cleanliness, and brand standards Hire, train, develop, and manage front desk and housekeeping teams Build a positive, accountable, team‑oriented culture across both properties Monitor front desk operations, guest service scores, and staff performance Track OTA invoices, manage rate parity, and ensure billing accuracy Suggest rates, monitor market trends, and create a revenue management plan for both hotels Market to local and out‑of‑town businesses; build relationships with corporate accounts, sports groups, contractors, and travel partners Maintain strong relationships with local organizations, attractions, and community partners Oversee property profitability, budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety protocols, and operational procedures Conduct regular property walks to ensure cleanliness, maintenance needs, and guest‑ready presentation Manage vendor relationships, supply ordering, and contract services Handle guest concerns professionally and promptly Prepare and analyze weekly/monthly reports for ownership Perform any additional tasks requested by ownership Requirements Minimum 5 years of Hotel General Manager experience (midscale or similar preferred) Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams Sales or business development background highly beneficial Proven experience managing budgets, forecasting, and hotel profitability Strong understanding of revenue management, rate strategy, and OTA channels Ability to work independently while managing two properties effectively Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills Ability to lead by example and maintain a professional, guest‑focused environment Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as needed Preferred Qualifications Experience with brand standards (Choice, Wyndham, IHG, Hilton, or similar) Familiarity with PMS systems, OTA extranets, and revenue tools Experience managing renovations, capital projects, or property upgrades Knowledge of local market trends in the Quad Cities region Strong track record of improving guest satisfaction scores Ability to create and execute local sales plans and community outreach What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Performance‑based incentives Supportive ownership group with long‑term vision Opportunity to lead and shape two growing properties
