Executive Meetings Manager at Coeur d'Alene Resort Help create exceptional group experiences in a world-class resort setting About Coeur d'
Alene Resort:
The Executive Meetings Manager is responsible for generating new and repeat business while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and accounts. This role plays a key part in increasing resort revenue, maximizing profitability, and ensuring an exceptional experience for every guest and group.
The Role:
As an Executive Meetings Manager, you will manage and book group business requiring 10-25 guest rooms per night. You will work closely with clients throughout the planning process, coordinate event details, negotiate contracts, and ensure seamless execution of meetings, events, and group experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate new business while maintaining and growing existing client relationships Book and manage group business requiring 10-25 guest rooms per night Conduct presentations and sales calls both in-person and over the phone Utilize prospecting techniques, account management, and follow-up strategies to secure business Negotiate and prepare contracts for guest rooms, meeting spaces, meal functions, and recreational activities Coordinate event details including meeting set-up, food and beverage selections, and audiovisual requirements Compose proposals, contracts, and client correspondence Ensure all group arrangements comply with operational policies and procedures Assist with in-house group functions and client support as needed Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
What We're Looking For:
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred Hospitality experience preferred Food and beverage or catering experience preferred Strong written, verbal, listening, and negotiation skills Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment Positive, energetic, and professional attitude Strong problem-solving and organizational skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related computer software preferred Professional appearance and demeanor Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed

Benefits & Compensation Salary:
55,000-70,000
DOE Daily Perks:

Paid Time Off:
After 6 months: 7 days After 1 year: 10 days After 2-4 years: 15 days After 5+ years: 20 days
Holiday Pay:
Time and a half for hours worked on Thanksgiving and Christmas
