Job Description

Sky Hospitality is seeking a dedicated and experienced Front Desk Manager to join our team at the Spark by Hilton Fort Wayne. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a passion for hospitality management. As the Front Desk Manager, you will oversee daily operations at the front desk, ensuring that guests receive outstanding service and that all front desk functions run smoothly. Duties Supervise and train front desk staff to deliver exceptional guest services and maintain high standards of hospitality. Manage daily front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and reservations. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner. Maintain accurate records of guest information and ensure all data is entered into the hotel management system. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest satisfaction. Implement and uphold hotel policies regarding guest relations and phone etiquette. Assist in developing strategies to enhance guest experiences and improve overall service quality. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the front desk area.
Operational Accountability:
Maintain responsibility for 24/7 shift coverage; in the event of staff call-outs or emergencies, the Front Desk Manager is responsible for securing a qualified replacement or personally covering the shift to maintain service standards.
Flexible Availability :
This position requires a flexible schedule, including the ability to work varied hours—mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays—as dictated by the needs of the hotel. Qualifications Previous experience in front desk operations or hospitality management is essential. Strong knowledge of hotel management systems and Hilton applications. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest relations; multilingual abilities are a plus. Proven ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining a positive work environment. Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in managing reservations and guest services. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
Schedule Management:
Create and manage comprehensive work schedules to ensure the front desk is adequately staffed at all times, particularly during peak hours, holidays, and weekends. A background in hotel environments is preferred.
