About Coronado Motel & RV Park Coronado Motel & RV Park is a small, family-owned motel located in the heart of Lindsborg, Kansas. We are looking for a dependable, long-term manager/operator to help oversee the day-to-day operations of the property and become part of the community. This is a unique live-in opportunity that is especially well-suited for a couple or small family looking for stable housing, flexible work, and a quieter pace of life. Unlike larger hotels, this property is relaxed and manageable, with most days averaging only a handful of guest check-ins and relatively light operational demands outside of housekeeping and guest support. In exchange for helping operate the motel, we provide housing on-site along with a monthly salary and the opportunity for long-term stability and growth. Position Overview This is a hands-on role where you will help oversee the daily operations of the motel and RV park. The position combines guest service, light housekeeping, phone reservations, and basic property oversight. Because this is a smaller property, the workload is generally light and spread throughout the day. Most days require approximately 3-5 hours of active work , though availability throughout the day is important in order to assist guests and answer phone inquiries as needed. This position is ideal for someone who: Enjoys hospitality and interacting with people Is self-motivated and dependable Wants affordable long-term housing Prefers a quieter, slower-paced environment Is comfortable living on-site and treating the property like their own Responsibilities Answer phones and assist guests with reservations and inquiries Check guests in and out of the motel Help secure reservations through phone calls and walk-in guests Perform housekeeping duties for guest rooms as needed Prepare and maintain light breakfast offerings for guests Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the motel lobby and common areas Assist guests with questions, directions, and general customer service Monitor the property and communicate maintenance concerns when necessary Help create a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests Preferred Qualifications Previous hospitality, motel, housekeeping, customer service, or sales experience is helpful but not required Comfortable using phones and basic computer systems Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities without constant supervision Friendly and professional attitude toward guests Couples or families are encouraged to apply Why This Opportunity Is Different This is not a large corporate hotel environment with constant stress or heavy traffic.
