Job Description
The General Manager is responsible for the overall daily operations of an indoor playcenter, ensuring a safe, clean, fun environment for guests and staff. This role oversees team leadership, customer experience, revenue performance, and operational excellence across all areas including admissions, concessions, parties, and facility maintenance. Key Responsibilities Oversee all day-to-day operations of the facility, including opening and closing procedures Monitor and enforce safety policies Maintain compliance with local health, safety, and fire regulations Recruit, hire, train, and schedule staff Supervise and coach team members to deliver excellent customer service Create a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment Handle employee performance, feedback, and disciplinary actions as needed Ensure every guest has a welcoming, fun, and safe experience Resolve customer concerns or complaints quickly and professionally Drive revenue through admissions, memberships, concessions, and party bookings Identify opportunities to improve sales, upselling, and efficiency Assist with promotions, events, and community outreach Manage labor costs, scheduling efficiency, and operating expenses Handle cash management, deposits, and basic financial reporting Track inventory for concessions and supplies Ensure equipment is regularly inspected and maintained Maintain overall cleanliness and presentation of the facility Qualifications 2+ years of management experience (retail, hospitality, family entertainment, or similar preferred) Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent customer service and communication abilities Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and sales tracking Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs Comfortable working in a loud, high-energy environment Compensation in addition to hourly pay: Performance bonuses Employee discounts Success in This Role Looks Like A clean, safe, and smoothly run facility Happy guests and strong repeat business A reliable, motivated, and well-trained team Consistent revenue growth and controlled expenses
