Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Hotel Operations Manager to join our leadership team. This role plays a vital part in overseeing the daily operations of the hotel and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across multiple departments and a proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
Oversee daily hotel operations, including Front Desk (all shifts), Housekeeping, Breakfast, and Laundry departments. Ensure all hotel areas meet brand standards for cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. Conduct regular property walks and room inspections to uphold quality and consistency. Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests to ensure exceptional service.
Team Management & Training:
Lead, coach, and support department teams to deliver top-quality guest service. Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training team members across all departments. Develop and manage work schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels. Foster a positive, collaborative, and performance-driven culture.
Administrative & Financial Support:
Support the General Manager with daily reports, operational reviews, and budget management. Monitor inventory and ordering for linens, supplies, and equipment. Help manage labor costs and operational expenses to meet property goals. Participate in regular management and staff meetings to discuss objectives and performance.
Guest Experience:
Maintain a visible presence throughout the hotel to ensure guests feel welcomed and valued. Resolve guest concerns with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency. Lead by example in delivering outstanding hospitality and service excellence.
Additional Responsibilities:
Maintain a flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require. Assist with additional projects and initiatives that contribute to the hotel's success. Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of hotel management or supervisory experience required, with a strong background in operations.
Knowledge:
Comprehensive understanding of hotel departments including Front Desk, Housekeeping, Laundry, and Breakfast.
Skills:
Proven leadership and team development abilities. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and guest satisfaction. Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite. Career Growth Opportunities within the Company Exposure to and development across multiple business entities

$40,000.00 per year
