The Troubadour Hotel Position Overview:
The General Manager of The Troubadour Hotel is responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving overall business performance. This leadership role requires a strategic, hands-on manager who can balance operational excellence, team leadership, and financial profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage hotel operations including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and guest services. Develop and execute strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and maintain high service standards. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance to achieve revenue and profitability goals. Recruit, train, and mentor department managers and staff to ensure a motivated and high-performing team. Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to elevate the hotel's reputation. Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and operational regulations. Collaborate with the marketing team to drive occupancy, events, and brand visibility. Foster relationships with vendors, partners, and the local community.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field. 5+ years of hotel management experience, preferably in boutique or lifestyle hotels. Proven leadership, financial acumen, and ability to achieve operational excellence. Strong communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills. Commitment to providing outstanding guest service and creating memorable experiences.
