Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences. This role requires a strategic thinker with expertise in revenue management, budgeting, and human resources, ensuring that all departments operate efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities Lead and manage all hotel operations, including front desk, guest services, housekeeping, and maintenance. Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and improve overall hotel performance. Oversee budgeting processes and revenue management to maximize profitability. Supervise staff across various departments, providing training and support to ensure high standards of service. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development. Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a memorable experience for all guests. Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Coordinate with human resources for recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of hotel staff. Maintain effective communication with all departments using multi-line phone systems while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Prepare reports on hotel performance metrics for ownership or corporate office review. Experience Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong background in supervising teams with demonstrated leadership skills. Knowledge of revenue management principles and budgeting processes. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Familiarity with night audit procedures and front desk operations is preferred. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous for enhancing guest communication. Experience in resort management is a plus but not required.
