MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred. Experience 3-5 years of Front Office leadership experience required. Luxury, lifestyle, or full-service hotel experience preferred. Multi-level team leadership experience preferred. Previous Hyatt experience preferred. Skills and Knowledge Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills. Ability to resolve guest concerns with professionalism and sound judgment. Strong understanding of Front Office operations, guest recovery, and service standards. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with hotel PMS systems, preferably Opera Cloud. Strong organizational and operational problem-solving skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills across departments and vendor partners. Job Duties and Responsibilities Oversee daily Front Office operations to ensure exceptional guest service, operational efficiency, and adherence to brand standards. Maintain a strong floor presence during peak arrival and departure periods, supporting the Front Desk team and overall lobby experience. Lead and develop Front Office leadership and line-level team members through coaching, accountability, training, and performance management. Oversee guest recovery efforts and ensure guest concerns are resolved promptly and professionally. Partner closely with Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, Sales, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and operational alignment. Provide leadership support and Manager on Duty (MOD) coverage as needed. Oversee room blocking strategy, arrivals planning, and overall front desk flow to maximize guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. Ensure proper cash handling procedures, room inventory management, and compliance with hotel policies and standards. Collaborate with leadership on staffing, scheduling, labor management, and payroll oversight. Monitor guest satisfaction metrics, operational reporting, and service standards to identify opportunities for improvement. Oversee the operational relationship with the hotel's third-party valet provider to ensure service expectations, arrival experience standards, and communication protocols are maintained. Foster a positive workplace culture aligned with HRI Hospitality values and service philosophy. Perform additional duties as assigned by hotel leadership.
