Role:
Assist GM in leading, managing, planning, directing, and controlling all aspects of the park and its staff. This includes managing and directing all staff, activities, events, and programs associated with the park in accordance with LanelotLive festivals, policies and procedures and ethical business practices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Define a vision for the company and its events in association with the GM and implement that vision throughout the organization Oversee all aspects of the site condition, operations, events and their staffs Effectively and continually analyze all personnel and operational aspects of company to identify problems and find appropriate & necessary resolutions Must be able to step up and support the GM in his absence
Relational:
Communicates vision, objectives, priorities and requirements, and leads / directs staff to develop and implement efficient organizational and process flows between staff, vendors and guests. Ability to communicate, develop and maintain a close, effective relationship with staff, managers, vendors, consultants, colleagues, partners and the public. Facilitates inter-departmental communication Motivate staff and vendors to produce a positive and efficient work environment Hires, trains and manages departmental directors/managers Establishes and maintains appropriate control to ensure staff integrity, behavioral and quality assurance throughout organization Ensures safety is an integral business practice Work with local and State Elected Officials, outside organizations and regulatory entities Accomplish objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; making mid-course corrections for each event Ensure that events are conducted to the highest level of efficiency, presentation, industry standards and applicable health & safety regulations. Leads efforts to develop and initiate training programs for all staff and operational aspects Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction and maintain such high standards on an ongoing basis. Continuing education of all industry standards, trends and/or applicable health & safety regulations for all staff, company and its events Development and refinement of organizational and park policies and procedures. Assigns Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and supervises implementation.
