For our properties we look for people who are professional entrepreneurs and outgoing, who are considerate and reliable and who are always on hand to assist with guest and associate needs. Duties and Responsibilities Financial Returns Prepare annual capital, cash flow and sales and marketing plans to accurately forecast budgets and achieve required operating results. Analyze financials to drive revenues, future profitability and maximum return on investment. Use distribution channels and technology platforms to drive revenue and maximize market share. Lead capital plans and initiatives, including working to maintain or improve property's market leadership position. Responsible for Sales and Revenue strategies; working closely with Sales, assists in identifying and supporting creative marketing solutions that fit the brand and property needs Develops innovative means for capturing new opportunities to gain revenue through property amenities Coaches and reinforces associate selling strategies that take advantage of property amenities Ensures all national and regional marketing programs and franchise standards are implemented in all relevant departments. Team Manages and monitors activities of all employees of the hotel, making sure they adhere to the standards of excellence and to the guidelines set in the employee handbook and hotel policies and procedures and lead the hotel's team to exceed guest expectations and achieve hotel's objectives Develop, implement and monitor team member succession planning to ensure future bench strength. Establish performance and development goals for team members and provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to enhance performance. Facilitate cross training and delegation to support associate professional growth and operational optimization. Oversee any salary, disciplinary or staffing/human resources-related actions in accordance with company rules and policies. Guest Experience Demonstrate brand compliance by following/implementing all required brand and service standards, and license agreement mandates. Drive improvement in guest satisfaction goals. Collaborate with colleagues and hotel team members to establish and implement services and programs that meet or exceed guest expectations. Make time to interact with guests, solicit feedback and build relationships. Responsible Business Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, team members and hotel assets in compliance with owner's policies and procedures and regulatory requirements. Maintain relations with outside contacts. Act as public relations representative to raise awareness of hotel and brand in local community. Drive team member involvement in community organizations, activities and businesses. Develop and carry out action plans to be environmentally-conscious by taking steps to reduce the hotel's carbon footprint. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements Four to six years of prior hotel management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must speak fluent English. Other languages are a plus.
