Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel as well as provide strategic direction. You will plan and supervise the activities of an extensive and diverse workforce to ensure the smooth and profitable running of business. It is important for the hotel manager to be involved in all aspects of the hotel operations. You will be just as responsible for dealing with complaints as for strategizing and preparing reports. You will be a key person of reference for employees and clients as well as external vendors. The hotel manager must be able to guide the employees to work as a well-functioning team. Therefore, the ideal candidate will be a team player and an effective leader, able to set examples and foster a climate of cooperation. The goal is to enhance customer dedication and expand our clientele by strengthening our hotel's reputation.
Core Responsibilities Operations Management:
Oversee daily operations, including front office, housekeeping, and maintenance, to ensure brand standards and safety regulations (health/security) are met.
Staff Leadership:
Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations.
Financial Performance:
Manage budgets, monitor revenue and expenses, set room rates, and produce financial reports to optimize profitability.
Guest Services:
Ensure high guest satisfaction by resolving complaints, greeting guests, and ensuring personalized service, particularly for VIPs.
Marketing & Sales:
Coordinate marketing efforts and promotions to drive occupancy and revenue.
Required Skills & Qualifications Experience:
Previous experience as a Hotel Manager, Assistant Manager, or in a senior hospitality role is generally required.
Education:
A degree in hospitality, hotel management, or business administration is common, though not always required if equivalent experience exists.
Leadership:
Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills are essential.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with Property Management Systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Availability:
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and being on-call
Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
