Job Description
Overview We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager . This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape the guest experience, oversee daily hotel functions, and drive the success of this exciting hospitality venture. As the face of the property, you will inspire your team, ensure exceptional guest service, and implement strategic initiatives to establish a strong market presence from day one. Duties Lead all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk management, guest services, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance to ensure smooth daily functioning. Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve revenue goals while maintaining high standards of service quality. Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control measures to maximize profitability. Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate staff across departments to foster a positive work environment focused on teamwork and excellence. Implement effective human resources practices including hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and staff development. Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction by ensuring exceptional customer service and resolving any issues promptly. Monitor hotel performance metrics such as occupancy rates, revenue per available room (RevPAR), and guest feedback to identify opportunities for improvement. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, licensing requirements, and company policies. Coordinate with vendors and service providers to maintain quality standards for supplies and equipment. Manage night audit procedures and oversee front desk operations during overnight shifts. Skills Proven leadership experience supervising diverse teams within the hospitality industry. Extensive hotel management knowledge including front desk operations, guest relations, and resort services. Strong background in revenue management strategies to optimize occupancy and profitability. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences. Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control techniques. Effective human resources management skills including hiring practices and staff development programs. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively. Familiarity with multi-line phone systems, phone etiquette, and night audit procedures. Exceptional communication skills with an energetic approach to leadership and problem-solving.
