About the Role We're seeking a Guest Experience Supervisor to lead our Front Desk / Vacation Concierge team and help drive an elevated, personalized guest experience. This position plays a key role in welcoming guests, proactively planning their stays, upselling activities and experiences, and supporting revenue management. You'll lead our dedicated front desk staff and help merchandise and sell our goods in our boutique gift shop. This is a year-round, on-site supervisory role ideal for someone who loves hospitality, planning, and helping guests create unforgettable vacations in the Northwoods. What You'll Do Lead and mentor our Vacation Concierge/front desk team Support revenue management tasks such as pricing, pacing awareness, availability adjustments, and OTA listings Communicate proactively with upcoming guests to help plan activities, rentals, and dining Upsell seasonal activities, guided naturalist programs, gift baskets, and package enhancements Oversee check-in/check-out, concierge support, and guest recovery when needed Ensure exceptional service from booking through checkout Purchase, inventory, style and upkeep our boutique gift shop What We're Looking For Hospitality or guest service leadership experience Sales and event management experience Strong communication and organizational skills Commitment to creating lifetime memories and experiences for guests Comfortable with upselling and helping guests customize their stays Familiarity with reservations systems and OTAs Experience with retail sales and POS systems Positive, team-oriented attitude Ability to work weekends and holiday periods Appreciation for wilderness hospitality and the Gunflint Trail Compensation & Benefits Seasonal and performance bonus pay available Discounted onsite housing available Discounts on lodging, dining, retail, and activities 401(k) with company contribution (eligible after one year) Vacation bank award (eligible after one year)
