Situated just across from Ikea and the Mall of America®, we're five minutes from MSP Airport. Guests can enjoy our free shuttle and park and fly options. The Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge is two miles away, offering trails for recreation. Our hotel features an indoor pool and 16,800 sq. ft. of event space across 23 meeting rooms. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Catering Sales & Convention Services Manager based in Bloomington, MN. The Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth by booking catering business and servicing conventions. Daily tasks include managing client relationships, conducting sales meetings, negotiating contracts, and working closely with the event planning team to ensure the success of various events. Qualifications Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies Strong skills in client relationship management and customer service Excellent negotiation and contract management skills Ability to analyze sales data and track performance metrics Strong communication and presentation skills Prior experience in the hospitality industry is a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred
