We hope to hear from you today. Le Meridien St. Louis Downtown is currently seeking an experienced, qualified Maintenance Manager to join the team in Downtown Saint Louis.
The main responsibilities include:
As the Maintenance Manager, you will be expected to manage all property engineering and maintenance operations ensuring that preventive maintenance programs, daily work orders, and special projects are completed efficiently and with the highest quality. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: Practices customer service behaviors, such as listening, initiative, responsiveness, cheerfulness, accommodation, courtesy, honesty, and professionalism. Supervise all department personnel demonstrating high leadership skills, model behaviors, and exemplary actions. Complete all management tasks including recruiting and hiring of all new department personnel, scheduling and staffing, product management, expense management, hold meetings, execute Start and End of Day procedures Monitor and enforce proper and safe use of chemicals and supplies.
Direct department training programs including:
Orientation, New Hire Training, Ongoing Training, and Performance Evaluations. Perform essential maintenance duties and responsibilities including: guestroom, public space, exterior, and mechanical preventive maintenance, respond to daily guest room maintenance requests, complete renovation projects, capital improvements, and any other special projects Perform general landscaping and general grounds upkeep (lawn care, snow removal) Complete basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC equipment repairs. Cleans, tests, and maintains pool and spa with maintenance of accurate and current logs. Keeps common areas and grounds free of trash and empties internal/external trash receptacles. Maintain other preventive maintenance for all hotel equipment. Participate in Manager on Duty rotation Report regular building and equipment condition issues with the General Manager. Counsel, in a timely manner, individual department members who are not performing adequately.
