Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel General Manager to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences. As the Hotel General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all hotel departments, maximizing revenue, and maintaining high standards of service. Responsibilities Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring all departments function efficiently and effectively. Develop and implement strategies for revenue management to optimize profitability. Foster a culture of outstanding customer service throughout the hotel. Manage budgeting and financial planning processes, ensuring adherence to financial goals. Lead and mentor staff, providing training and development opportunities to enhance performance. Maintain guest relations by addressing concerns and feedback promptly and professionally. Coordinate with various departments including housekeeping, front desk, and food & beverage to ensure seamless service delivery. Conduct night audits as necessary to ensure accurate financial reporting. Utilize phone systems effectively for communication with guests and staff. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies. Experience Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong background in revenue management, budgeting, and financial analysis. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse clientele. Familiarity with night audit procedures is an advantage.
