We are seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead the successful opening and ongoing operations of a dual-branded Fairfield Inn & TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Waveland, Mississippi. This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of a new hotel from pre-opening through stabilization—building your team, shaping the culture, and delivering outstanding guest experiences from day one. Key Responsibilities Lead all aspects of hotel operations, including Rooms, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Sales Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing opening team Drive revenue, profitability, and guest satisfaction Ensure brand standards and operational excellence across both Marriott flags Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance Build strong relationships within the local community and market Deliver exceptional guest service and maintain top-tier online reputation scores Qualifications Previous General Manager experience in a Marriott or comparable branded hotel required Dual-brand experience strongly preferred Proven success in hotel openings, turnarounds, or high-performance operations Strong financial acumen and revenue management understanding Leadership style that builds accountability, engagement, and team culture Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Why This Opportunity?
