We're looking for a Temporary General Manager to complement our team and help oversee operations from mid-May to August while our current manager is away from the office. As part of a network of properties in the area, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service, and we're seeking someone who can help maintain that high standard across multiple areas of the hotel.

Job Summary:
The Temporary General Manager will oversee and coordinate the operations of the hotel for a period not to exceed 90 days, providing Level5 quality service and accommodations to hotel guests. The primary goals of the Temporary General Manager include striving to exceed expectations in all Level5 Hospitality pillars, which encompass employee satisfaction, profitability, market share, guest satisfaction, and quality assurance.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Manage human resource functions, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training, for the duration of the temporary assignmentOversee the day-to-day operations and staffing of the hotel to ensure efficient functioning within the 90-day timeframeProvide constructive and timely performance evaluations to staff during the temporary management period.

Handle discipline and termination of employees as needed, in accordance with hotel policy, while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations
Duties/ Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee all operations of the hotel during the temporary assignment, ensuring quality service is provided to all guests and associatesConduct daily inspections of the hotel to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations throughout the 90-day periodMeet or exceed budgeted profits and margins for the hotel during the temporary management roleAccurately forecast revenue and expenses to meet flex/flow goals within the defined timeframeAnalyze financial and operational information on an ongoing basis to adjust business plans, labor requirements, and operating costs as neededAssist the sales leader with implementing business plans and sales action plans to maximize RevPAR and market share growth during the temporary tenureActively engage in sales by attending sales calls and property tours throughout the temporary assignment.

Ensure maintenance issues are addressed in a timely manner during the management periodCoordinate services with outside suppliers and vendors as needed during the temporary role
Required Skills/ Abilities:
Perform other related duties as assigned within the scope of the Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff throughout the temporary assignmentOutstanding interpersonal and customer service skills to ensure exceptional guest experiences during the 90-day periodStrong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage hotel operations efficientlyStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during the temporary role
Preferred Education and Experience:
Preferably have experience as an Assistant General Manager, General Manager, or in a similar role in the hotel industryFive or more years of experience in the hotel industry is preferred, with some management experience
Physical Requirements:
Must reside in or near the hotel location for the duration of the temporary assignment (up to 90 days) Must be able to remain in a stationary position during shift.

Must be able to access and navigate the facilityEmployees are required to adhere to safety requirements by wearing the appropriate personal protective equipmentWork is routine and repetitive in nature and may require strenuous physical exertion at times, including the ability to move objects weighing up to 50lbsValid Drivers License
