Job Description
The Bedford Village Inn & Grand is seeking an experienced, service-driven Lodging Manager to oversee daily hotel operations and lead our Front Desk team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. This leadership role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced luxury environment and is passionate about guest satisfaction, team development, and operational excellence. Overview The Lodging Manager at Bedford Village Inn & Grand is responsible for overseeing daily hotel and front desk operations while ensuring exceptional guest experiences, efficient staffing, and strong operational performance. This role manages scheduling, payroll oversight, employee onboarding and training, guest satisfaction initiatives, OTA reconciliations, and lodging systems administration. The Lodging Manager works closely with housekeeping, sales, and other departments to maintain luxury service standards, resolve guest concerns, manage room inventory and overbookings, coordinate VIP accommodations, and support overall hotel operations and profitability. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily front desk and lodging operations to ensure exceptional guest service Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to guest reviews and feedback Oversee VIP guest accommodations and special requests Manage payroll reporting, labor budgets, scheduling, and staffing levels Conduct team meetings, training, onboarding, and performance oversight Coordinate employee access, keys, system logins, and background checks Process OTA reconciliations, consortia invoices, cancellations, and no-show reports Assist with room inventory management, upgrades, and overbooking resolution Collaborate with Housekeeping and other departments to maintain property standards Maintain communication logs and ensure operational follow-up is completed Order Front Desk, minibar, and operational supplies as needed Assist with package creation, promotions, rates, and discount setup Support gift card inquiries and credit card chargeback resolution Participate in weekly sales and operational meetings Qualifications Previous hotel management experience required Strong knowledge of hotel operations and guest service standards Experience with hotel PMS systems (OPERA Cloud experience preferred) Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment Experience managing schedules, labor costs, and payroll oversight Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed What We Offer Competitive salary Health, Dental & Vision Insurance Paid time off Employee dining and lodging discounts 401K with matching We are looking for a hospitality professional who leads by example, values teamwork, and is dedicated to creating memorable guest experiences.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:
