  • Full-time Cayuga Blu Hotel Ithaca is looking for a full time Assistant General Manager.
Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Assistant Manager, where your leadership and hospitality expertise will drive exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence. In this role, you will oversee daily hotel operations, supervise staff, and ensure that every guest receives top-tier service. Background in hotel management and revenue strategies will contribute to the hotel's success. Duties Supervise front desk operations, including multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette, ensuring smooth guest check-in and check-out processes Lead and motivate hotel staff across departments such as guest services, maintenance and housekeeping to deliver outstanding service standards Oversee guest relations by resolving issues promptly and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction Manage hotel revenue through effective revenue management techniques, budgeting, and cost control strategies Support human resources functions including staff scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and compliance with hospitality policies Experience Proven supervising experience within the hospitality industry, preferably in hotel Extensive hotel management background with a focus on guest services and operations oversight Strong knowledge of hospitality management practices, including revenue management and budgeting Experience in human resources functions such as staffing, training, and employee relations Familiarity with front desk procedures, multi-line phone systems, night audit processes, and hotel software systems Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment
