Job Description
We are looking for an energetic, organized, and personable Assistant Hotel Manager to join our growing hospitality team in beautiful Lake Placid, NY. This is an all-in position for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited to be part of a growing hotel and restaurant operation. No two days are the same in this role. From welcoming hotel guests to assisting with bookkeeping, helping oversee daily operations, and supporting restaurant service, this position is perfect for someone who loves hospitality and enjoys wearing many hats. Responsibilities Assist with daily hotel operations and guest services Greet and check in hotel guests with a friendly and professional attitude Answer phones, manage reservations, and respond to guest inquiries Assist with bookkeeping, invoices, daily reporting, and administrative tasks Help oversee housekeeping coordination and daily hotel needs Greet and seat guests in the restaurant when needed Support staff and management in maintaining smooth daily operations Help create a welcoming and memorable guest experience Step into different roles as needed to support the team Qualifications Strong communication and customer service skills Organized, dependable, and able to multitask Positive attitude and team-player mentality Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment Previous hotel, restaurant, office, or customer service experience preferred Bookkeeping or administrative experience is a plus Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when needed What We Offer Opportunity to grow with a fast-paced and expanding business A fun and team-oriented work environment Variety in your day-to-day responsibilities Competitive pay based on experience The chance to work in one of the Adirondacks' most iconic destinations If you are someone who enjoys staying busy, helping people, and being part of a hardworking hospitality team, we would love to hear from you.
