Job Description

Job Description The Reservations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's reservation process. This includes managing a team of reservation agents, optimizing room revenue, and ensuring a seamless guest experience from booking to check-in. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities Team Management:
Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing reservations team. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Revenue Management:
Implement strategies to maximize room revenue and occupancy rates. Analyze market trends and adjust pricing strategies accordingly. Monitor and control inventory to optimize room availability.
Reservation Process:
Oversee the entire reservation process, from initial inquiry to confirmation. Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the property management system. Handle special requests, group bookings, and VIP reservations. Resolve guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
Guest Experience:
Deliver exceptional customer service by providing accurate information and addressing guest needs. Promote the hotel's amenities and services to enhance the guest experience. Maintain a strong understanding of the hotel's offerings and local attractions.
Reporting and Analysis:
Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as occupancy rates, average daily rate, and revenue per available room. Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Prepare forecasts and budgets for the reservations department.
System Management:
Maintain proficiency in the hotel's property management system and reservation software. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies. Troubleshoot system issues and implement solutions. Qualifications Proven experience as a Reservations Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in property management systems and reservation software. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Knowledge of revenue management principles and practices.
