Hotel Front Desk Supervisor

An independent boutique hotel located in Southampton is seeking an outgoing, responsible, and enthusiastic front desk supervisor. This is a full-time, year-round position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Exemplary ability to perform all functions of the front desk as it pertains to check-ins, checkouts, reservations, and guest services Assist with the management of the front desk by facilitating efficient and professional interactions between guests and front desk agents Assist in hiring, training, and mentoring the front desk team Assist with payroll and scheduling for the front desk department Review reports daily to anticipate guest needs Coordinate with other department managers and supervisors Other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of programs Excellent written and verbal communication with knowledge of hospitality language Valid driver's license Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Ability to be on your feet (standing/walking) for long periods of time Flexible work hours and days (generally 8 hour shifts, 5 days per week) Some college, 2-4 years of related education or work experience Previous experience and/or training on any hotel property management system Experience with Maestro PMS a huge plus, though not required Perks include an employee discount and complimentary staff lunch during restaurant operations. $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
