Job Description

Restaurant & Resort Operations Manager Full-Time | Western New York (Wyoming County) Nights & Weekends Required This is not your typical restaurant manager role. We're a small, fast-paced resort property looking for a hands-on leader who can run our food & beverage operation and step in wherever the business needs them—from the restaurant floor to the front desk to supporting seasonal operations like golf and ski. This role is ideal for someone who wants more than just managing a shift—you want to learn how to run an entire operation . What You'll Be Responsible For Food & Beverage Leadership (Primary Focus) Oversee all food & beverage outlets: Restaurant & Bar Banquets & Events On-course food service & beverage cart Poolside snack bar Lead, schedule, and coach front-of-house staff Step into service during busy shifts—you will be on the floor Ensure a high-quality guest experience and handle service recovery Collaborate on menus, specials, and events Manage labor, food cost, and overall profitability Resort-Wide Operations Support This role plays a key part in overall property operations. You'll be cross-trained and expected to assist in: Front Desk (PMS training and guest check-ins) Golf Shop & Ski Shop (seasonal support) Pool operations (seasonal support) Housekeeping coordination Basic maintenance communication You may serve as Manager-on-Duty for the entire property . Hiring & Team Leadership Lead hiring for front desk, restaurant, pool, ski shop, and housekeeping Train, coach, orientate and develop team members Build schedules that balance service with labor costs Foster a team culture where everyone contributes Operations & Performance Monitor and report weekly sales, labor, and cost metrics Ensure systems, procedures, and standards are followed Work closely with ownership on day-to-day operations What We're Looking For Management experience in hospitality or food & beverage Leaders comfortable wearing multiple hats Highly organized and able to adapt quickly Strong problem-solver who stays calm under pressure Willingness to do whatever the business needs that day
Bonus:
Experience in multi-department operations, resorts, or seasonal businesses Schedule & Expectations Full-time, year-round role Nights, weekends, and holidays required
Mix of:
