Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Hotel General Manager to lead our hospitality team and drive the success of our Hotel. This pivotal role requires a passionate leader with a comprehensive understanding of hotel management, guest services, and revenue optimization. As the face of the property, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and foster a positive work environment. Your leadership will inspire teams to deliver outstanding service while maintaining operational excellence and financial performance. Duties Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk management, guest relations, housekeeping, food and beverage services, and maintenance. Lead and supervise staff across departments, ensuring high standards of customer service, professionalism, and teamwork. Implement revenue management strategies to maximize occupancy rates and profitability through dynamic pricing and promotional initiatives. Manage human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development to build a motivated team. Monitor budgeting processes, control costs, and optimize resource allocation to achieve financial targets. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, hotel policies, and industry standards to maintain a secure environment for guests and staff. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and enthusiasm to promote guest satisfaction. Coordinate with external vendors and partners to enhance the guest experience and operational efficiency. Conduct regular inspections of the property to uphold cleanliness, safety standards, and overall presentation. Oversee night audit procedures and ensure accurate financial reporting at the end of each day. Skills Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality leadership roles with supervising responsibilities. Strong knowledge of hospitality management systems, revenue management techniques, and front desk operations including multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette. Exceptional customer service skills combined with the ability to resolve issues promptly and effectively. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for engaging diverse guests confidently. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on team development, motivation, and conflict resolution. Expertise in budgeting, human resources practices, and hotel operations including guest services and night audit procedures. Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to foster clear internal collaboration and positive guest interactions. Experience working in resort environments or large-scale hotels is preferred to understand complex operational needs.
