Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Hotel General Manager to lead our hospitality team and oversee all aspects of hotel operations. This pivotal role requires a passionate leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while driving revenue and maintaining operational excellence. As the face of the hotel, you will inspire your team, uphold brand standards, and foster a welcoming atmosphere for guests from diverse backgrounds. Your leadership will be instrumental in creating memorable stays and ensuring the hotel's success. Duties Lead and supervise all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance to ensure smooth daily operations Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize revenue, occupancy rates, and profitability through effective revenue management techniques Oversee guest relations by ensuring high-quality customer service, addressing guest concerns promptly, and enhancing overall guest satisfaction Manage human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development to build a motivated and professional team Monitor budgeting processes, control costs, and optimize resource allocation to meet financial targets Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hospitality regulations while upholding brand standards and operational policies Oversee night audit procedures, front desk operations including multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette, ensuring seamless guest check-in/out experiences Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, leadership development, and continuous improvement Engage with local community partners to promote the hotel's services and increase visibility within the resort or hospitality market Requirements Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality leadership roles with supervising responsibilities Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles including guest services, revenue management, budgeting, human resources, and hotel operations Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple departments simultaneously Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests, staff, vendors, and stakeholders using professional phone etiquette on multi-line systems Experience in resort settings or large-scale hotels is preferred Demonstrated ability to handle guest relations with professionalism and tact while resolving issues efficiently Knowledge of night audit procedures and front desk operations is advantageous Join us as a Hotel General Manager if you're ready to lead with enthusiasm, elevate guest experiences, and shape the future of our hospitality brand.
