Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as an Assistant General Manager - Hotel, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel. This energetic leadership position offers the opportunity to oversee daily hotel functions, motivate staff, and uphold the highest standards of service. Your expertise in hospitality management, guest relations, and team supervision will drive our hotel's success and create memorable stays for our guests. Duties Assist the General Manager in overseeing all hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance departments Supervise and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining high standards of hospitality and guest satisfaction Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere Oversee revenue management strategies to maximize profitability through pricing, promotions, and occupancy optimization Coordinate human resources activities such as staffing schedules, training programs, performance evaluations, and compliance with hotel policies Oversee night audit procedures and ensure accurate financial reporting at the end of each day Maintain effective communication across departments using multi-line phone systems and uphold professional phone etiquette Implement hotel policies related to guest services, safety protocols, and operational procedures to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff Support the front desk team in handling reservations, check-ins/check-outs, and guest requests with efficiency and friendliness Skills Proven supervising experience within a hospitality or hotel management setting Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles including revenue management, guest services, and hotel operations Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction Experience in human resources functions such as staffing, training, and performance management Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control measures within a resort or hotel environment Leadership qualities that inspire teams to perform at their best while fostering a positive work culture Familiarity with front desk operations, multi-line phone systems, and night audit procedures Ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams in a multilingual or bilingual setting Jonas Chorum or similar PMS knowledge is a plus. $45,000.00 - $46,500.00 per year
