  • Full-time Hotel General Manager This position is located outside of Pittsburgh, PA, and will require relocation.
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Hotel General Manager to lead our hospitality team and ensure exceptional guest experiences. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily hotel operations, drive revenue growth, and foster a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Your leadership will set the tone for service excellence, operational efficiency, and team motivation, creating a memorable stay for every guest while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the success of a vibrant property through strategic oversight and passionate leadership. Duties Lead and supervise all hotel departments including front desk, housekeeping, and guest services to ensure smooth daily operations. Manage on-going profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue, guest, and associate satisfaction targets are met and exceeded. Cultivate strong guest relations by addressing concerns promptly, enhancing guest services, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Implement hospitality best practices to elevate the guest experience from check-in to check-out, emphasizing phone etiquette and personalized service. Oversee human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development to build a motivated team. Manage budgeting processes, control costs, and optimize financial performance through effective resource allocation. Ensure compliance with safety standards, hotel policies, and legal regulations across all departments. Support the sales efforts of the hotel and in generating revenue opportunities.
Experience/Requirements:
Proven supervisory experience within the hospitality industry is a must. Knowledge of hospitality management principles, including guest services, revenue management, and human resources. Management and systems experience within the Marriott brand is preferred. Must be initiative-taking, self-directed, with strong initiative and desire for achievement. Exceptional customer service skills required. Must possess strong computer skills. Interpersonal and time management skills. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment. Excellent communication skills; multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for engaging diverse guests. Adaptability. Guest relations skills.
