Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina, rated the #1 resort in South Carolina, is seeking a highly dependable, service-driven Resort Night Operations Supervisor to lead all overnight hotel and marina operations. This leadership role blends front desk supervision, night audit management, guest services, safety oversight, and marina operations supervision, ensuring seamless overnight operations resort-wide and on the waterfront. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Acting MOD Supervise all overnight front office, guest services, and marina operations to ensure exceptional service, safety, and security at all times Provide friendly, efficient guest registration, service, and information to all guests, associates, and visitors Maintain and continuously improve the quality of the guest experience throughout the overnight shift Supervise and perform guest check-ins, ensuring proper credit is received, special requests are noted and fulfilled, and accurate guest information is established Oversee and perform all night audit procedures, including balancing daily reports and ensuring full financial accuracy Supervise and perform all posting procedures, charges, check cashing, safe deposits, refunds, and report distribution in accordance with Resort standards Maintain and supervise the overnight house bank and ensure all checks, cash, and credit card transactions follow Resort policies and procedures Serve as the primary overnight leader and first responder Manage all guest issues, staff needs, safety concerns, and emergency situations Ensure overnight quiet hours, guest safety, and full property security are consistently enforced Promote, upsell, and sell special hotel programs, special rate packages, amenities, and upgrades when appropriate Answer all guest and marina calls in a professional, service-oriented manner, assisting with questions, directions, and property information Maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of all resort amenities, marina operations, and special events Communicate effectively with all departments regarding in-house VIPs and special guest needs Maintain clear, timely communication with Front Office Managers, Supervisors, Dockmaster, and Executive Leadership regarding all overnight activity Interact with resort associates in a professional, leadership-driven manner, assisting other departments with required information and support Be thoroughly knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and Resort policies and enforce them as needed Champion programs that train and develop overnight team members in Resort policies, procedures, and service expectations Cultivate an atmosphere of continuous learning, accountability, and professional development Foster and grow strong working relationships with all departments across the resort and marina Maintain and improve the quality, cleanliness, safety, and presentation of guest rooms and all public areas Supervise and perform all overnight marina activities, including vessel arrivals, docking assistance, utility monitoring, night vessel inventory, dock safety, inventory, and fueling Monitor dock lines, power, water, and vessel security throughout the night Enforce all marina regulations, resort policies, and safety procedures Coordinate and assist with storm preparation and emergency response procedures Support tournaments, special events, and overnight marina operations as required Lead, mentor, and hold overnight associates accountable while promoting professionalism and teamwork Qualifications / Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Previous supervisory experience in hospitality, marina operations, or night audit strongly preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills required Strong computer, math, and multi-tasking skills required Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving ability Proven ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner Experience with cash, check, and credit card handling preferred Flexible availability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays Ability to swim and safely operate boats preferred Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions Valid driver's license required Must successfully pass a background check Preferred Certifications & Experience CPR, First Aid, and AED certification Benefits 401(k) and 401(k)Matching Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Free Parking Resort and Marina Discounts Employment Type Full-Time Job Type:
